A quiet, but snowy morning

Warren County dispatchers say there are no reported accidents in the county,
but there are several cars off the road on Hwy. 65/69 at Fulton Avenue north
of Indianola. Vehicles were struggling to get to the top of a steep hill on
the highway there, dispatchers said.

In Indianola itself, Ed Yando, head of the street department said snow plows
are having a hard time staying ahead of the snow.

It¹s coming down so hard we haven¹t been able to stay ahead of it,” he
said. “It really appears we haven¹t been out yet, but we have.”

Yando said plows had covered the entire town, but would continue rounds
until the streets were cleared.
