An arrest has been made following a bomb threat that was found at the Norwalk Middle School on Feb. 6 during a basketball game, according to a press release from the Norwalk Police Department.
“Since the original call was received, Norwalk Officers have been actively investigating the incident,” according to the release. “The investigation culminated in the identification of a suspect and the later arrest of that person on February 26.”
The threat forced the school to cancel several events the night of Feb. 6 including a band concert.
According to the press release, the name of the perpetrator is being withheld because of their age and the case has been referred to Warren County Juvenile Court for further action.
The Norwalk Police Department hasn’t released the arrest report.
